Meeting your spiritual needs and expections

What to expect at hope

At Hope Lutheran Church we want to make you feel comfortable and prepared to walk through our doors. We realize that having great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and an enjoyable atmosphere could still seem a little scary to first time visitors. We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions: What should I wear… what will the service be like … Here is a quick look at what you can expect when visiting Hope Lutheran Church. Be advised, there is no child care or Sunday School provided.

  • What should i wear?

We have no dress code. Just be yourself. We believe that God accepts us as we are and that God does not base our worship to Him on how we are dressed. So, whether you're dressed casual, dressy, or somewhere in between, you should fit right in.

  • what will the service be like?

We follow a traditional, liturgical style of worship. This means that we follow a particular order of service, including parts such as confessing our faith with one of the Creeds, listening to God's Word, praying the Lord's Prayer, singing hymns, and celebrating Holy Communion.

  • The Message

    Pastor Andreas, biblically-based,

  • The Music

Piano, our Cantor, Judy Ryken, special guests and groups, Hymns, old and new. Outstanding and diverse musical guests

  • coffee & Fellowship afterward

Stay after the service to meet our members, share life and faith experiences, and enjoy coffee, tea, and some sweet and savory goodies.
