  • FABRIC KITS 2019

Hope Lutheran began collecting fabric and thread for the Thrivent Action Team project in support of the Lutheran World Relief project to contribute Fabric Kits to trained sewers who sew to make an income to support their families. Thanks to our members, we received fabric and thread to assemble 29 kits of 2 pieces of fabric and 2 spools of thread each! After a break for Pastor Jack's resignation and the congregational meeting, we concluded the project in February. The fabric was packed in February at the home of Julane Sampson. Packing was followed by a lunch of Taco Soup made by Julane. A big thank you to all who participated!
