  • Congregational Meeting 2026

    The 58th Annual Congregational Meeting of Hope Lutheran Church on Feb 8, 2026 was well-attended.

    Congregation President Jack Padley opened the meeting. Pastor Andreas Pielhoop conducted the opening liturgy. Cantor Judy Ryken led the assembly in song as part of the opening liturgy.

  • Reformation Sunday

    Taking place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, Hope celebrated this day with a special service, highlighting the history of the Reformation under Martin Luther. Hope encouraged its members to wear the traditional color red for the service. 

  • Hope's 60th Anniversary Jubilee

    On Sunday, October 10, 1965 at 11:00am, the new Rossmoor Lutheran Church celebrated its first worship service in the Art Studio. Sixty years later on October 19, 2025 at 10:30am, Hope Lutheran Church celebrated its Diamond Jubilee in the Fireside Room. It was a wonderful day of celebration.  After the service, members joined together for a delightful lunch catered by the Creekside Restaurant in Rossmoor.

  • Hope's 60th Anniversary Brick Dedication

    In honor of Hope's 60 years in God's service to the community of Rossmoor, this brick was installed in the courtyard in front of the Fireside building.

    A Worship Service of candles, prayer, and song for those of us who struggle with grief or loneliness during the Christmas holidays.

    Our resident musicians and vocalists at Hope, as well as outstanding and diverse musical guests, continue to delight and draw praise from the congregation. Last year, a special music fundraiser yielded over $6,000

    Chase Wilcox and Jaxon Schlagenhauf are the two excellent high school students who take turns operating our weekly live-stream.
